Great footage, sad to say I missed it as we went shopping in Thurso on the same day.
How did the marina part of the harbour handle the huge waves, was there any damage to the boats still in the water in the marina?

Really enjoyed that. Thank you very much
Thanks Timber-TEC for capturing some amazing video and sharing it here.
The storm was awesome to watch, I've never witnessed the like before. Totally scary to watch "live" from the safety of dry land, spine-chilling in fact! I have to admit I turned the heating up while watching your video footage this morning.

Yes, I live in Wick from 8 years and have seen many storms here, but I have never seen Poseidon so furious before .

Just how many tons of water was hitting quays . Must be a tribute to them that built them. But how many more seas like that is the south river quay going to stand? Shows the power of the sea.
It even made the Scottish news tonight.
A 1991 Gallup survey indicated that 49 percent of Americans didn't know that white bread is made from wheat.
What spectaculat footage Maciek... took some piccy's myself and as I was doing so, got saturated by a wave as my son laughed... posted them on my facebook...
Well done and thanks for sharing...
Angel...
I'm not perfect, which is a shame really, as everyone else is!
I hope your camera survived saturation Angel . I was shooting from safe location on the top of the cliff using my telelens.
