Sure there is more chlorine in it these days. Used to love a cold pint of water in the summer, but this 'summer' definitely had a strong chlorine smell and unpleasant aftertaste.
Is there something wrong with the Thurso tap water, not only has it left folk with sore throats but it leaves a oily / slimey residue around the surface line . It's also playing havoc with my morning coffee with an streaking affect on top and a funny after taste. So it's out with the water filter jug before filling the kettle or coffee machine .
