    Unhappy Goodbye Gyp

The faithful little collie, always at my side.
Honest in her actions, never ever lied.
Genuine affection, and no strings attached,
Loyalty the like of which will surely not be matched.
Her tail was always wagging, pleased to see us all,
Nothing she liked better, than playing with a ball.
And as the years flew over, we saw her getting slow,
Until today we knew, that it was time to let her go.
Only those who knew her could feel the privilege,
To say goodbye and let her go, across the rainbow bridge.
