    Default 12 year old rabbit bows out

    We have just lost you rabbit (a Netherland dwarf) who had just turned 12 this week.We were told they dont usually live past 8 so he was a lucky happy chap, deeply missed..

    I had no idea they lived til 8 never mind 12.

    Its awful when you lose a dearly loved pet.

    It must have had the best care possible to get to that grand old age.

    Wow what a grand old age to live. He must have been a very happy bunny indeed! He's gone to the bridge at a ripe old age.
    I've been told that they live longer if they are spayed/neutered as it lowers the risk of certain cancers.
