    Default Snacks

I like to eat spicy lime pickle on celery for that instant feast.

What do you like to eat as a snack?

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

A banana's always good when a snack attack comes on. I also like crackers or crispbread with cheese and sliced cucumber - sometimes with grape tomatoes as well.

I love hummus too - a great dip for fresh veggies like celery, broccoli, cauliflower, as well as carrot sticks.

Oatcakes are another fave of mine, but unfortunately, they're very hard to find in the USA.

A business opportunity is waiting there, you know how the Americans lap up everything that's Scottish?

How right you are, Rheghead! Sporran's Scottish Oatcakes does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it? And so does Sporran's Scottish Shortbread!!

So far, I haven't been able to find the fine oatmeal that's required to make them, over here. All I can find is the coarse grained rolled oats, that you use for making porridge!

Could you put the coarse stuff through a coffee grinder? Probably a silly suggestion.
