    Default What's new in Thurso?

I'll be making my annual pilgrimage home next week. Is there anything going on that I should see or take part in when I'm up?

    Thanks,

Caithness Horizons in the old town hall is worth a visit and always good for a coffee and snack in the cafe http://www.caithnesshorizons.co.uk/ .
The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

I'll second that. It's also a great place to take visitors on a rainy day.

I know I only asked about things to do or see in Thurso but I'm surprised no-one suggested the Wick Harbour Festival.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers of Harbourfest and indeed the entire population of Wick for a most fabulous weekend. Whoever organised the weather deserves a sainthood.
