    Yes there is-
Pentland Model Boat Club- Sailing scale model boats every Sunday morning (weather permitting!), beginning at around 10 AM at the boating pond in Thurso next to the fire station.
Wick Model Yacht Club- Racing model yachts sailed seasonally between the end of February and the end of June on Sarclet Loch, around 4 miles south of Wick. As you head south from Wick, turn left at Thrumster, and head straight through the village. You will come to a fork in the road just after driving through a farm complex, turn right and continue untill you see the loch on your left. Park at the top of the field and walk down to the loch side shed, where both hot and cold refreshments are available.
Classes sailed are Marblehead and a local classing called the 5 foot class. New members are always welcome.
