...all seems fairly quiet on the .org these days. I look in but see little contentious or fally-outy stuff to stick me oar into.

Mostly local and domestic matters.... of course I'm not qualified to comment on the former and try to have as little as possible to do with the latter.

It must be the Christmas spirit. Long may it prevail....well , for a month at least.... I hope it's not long into 2009 before we are kicking lumps out of one another again - in a metaphorical sense of course.

Peace and gooddwill toward men...and women of the .org.
I'm off to see Cinderella on saturday - yes the festive season is well and truly upon us so lets ditch the clashes of opinion, cast aside the doom and gloom of economic woes and relish this little island in a bleak mid-winter.

Frosty winds made moan and all that...personally I never needed much more than breeze to get me at it. I'll work on a few for the new year

well i have no idea who jebus might be......and it would seem that as we celebrate christmas as the birth of jesus every year..............so if no one knows .....why all this fuss every year on that day???

Possibly the pagan festival of Yule, northener? but the Romans began celebrating their winter festival of Saturnalia a few days earlier I think....

As for Yule:

On the above note I was a Bob Dylan and Band in concert last week. Sat 50 feet away from this Magician. Wow..... A man in his own World. Didn't say a word to the audience.
Came on, played and sang in his own space and left at the end.......Didn't sing any Xmas music....but what a nice way to be. Immersed in the Spirit...perhaps it was his spirit....Once in a lifetime.......and he has been doing this for what.....30/40 years. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
