    got to be garlic mushrooms followed by steak carmalised onions and creamy mashed potatoes .......mmmmmmmmmmmm

    From a good N.W.of England chippy: steak puddin' chips and mushy peas, in a tray with gravy. Eaten with someone you love , in the car while the rain beats down on the roof.

    mine has got to be egg and chips with bread and butter with a good strong,sweet cup of tea, failing that Hollands cheese and onion pie, chips and mushy peas.

    When I lived in the South West, nothing could be a proper Cornish Pasty!

    But up here on the North coast I would have to go for a fresh bit of fish.

    Mmmm it's got to be roast chicken, real roast tatties, a nice selection of veg and a gravy you'd quite happily eat as a soup. Just like me Mam did and just like me other half does now.
