Good on Qatar Airways / Gary Glitter Coming Home

I saw on the news this morning that Qatar airways has refused to return Garry Glitter to the UK. Quite right good on them. I know he is coming back Thai airways anyway and there is no keeping him away but I for one am glad that the airline refused him.

In my opinion he should still be locked up and the key thrown away. The only good thing about him coming back to the UK is that the authorities will be able to monitor him more closely than if he had gone to some other country. The vulnerable need to be protected from this monster.

so Gary Glitter is coming home. One airline (full marks to them) has refused to fly him. What should we do with him? In my opinion, placing him on the sex offenders register and leaving him to live out a peaceful life is too good for him. He should be made to serve the rest of his sentence at the very least albeit in Britain.

Best thing to do with him is place him in a football stadium with lots of Mothers. Then have it live on the telly. Allow the mothers one kick each to his nether regions and see who gets the winning kick(the one that renders him lifeless). They then get a free ticket to Disneyland!!!

That way everybody will be happy, no more gary glitter, we all get to see it happen, mother gets to take her kids to disneyland and it shows paedos what will happen to them in the future and will hopefully save the lives of many children being ruined or worse.

He is not scared to face the media in Britain. He cannot disapear here. He is instantly recognizable and will constantly be monitored here. If he can stay in Asia he is relatively unknown and will be able to carry on with his life the way he wants to: abusing children.

Just an addendum: The UK is no good at placing UK pedophiles who travel to commit their crimes on the offenders register and monitoring their travel. This means that many choose to commit their crimes abroad where it has a slighter risk of affecting their home lives.

Why aren't offenders who are placed on the sex offenders for crimes like this not tagged in some way so that they can be tracked? This might be expensive but in comparison to the human cost in sexual assaults etc it would be worth it?

All sex offenders should not be allowed to travel unless in the case of forced deportation. However I am sure that this will be against their human rights in some way. What about the publics human rights?

What I meant was, the right to the freedom, to be safe in our own environment. Be that at home, in the community or out on the town etc. A public human right.

I totally agree If this liberal country is dead set against incarcersting these depraved offenders then the very least the should be tagged so that the can be traced to which ever dark hole the decide to live. there are too many people who have been placed on the sex offenders registar that have simply disappeared off the radar.Prevention of one crime is worth the expence.
