I have not seen a property auction up here yet ,but bought from one down south.
The idea is a good one .
It does away with months and months of solicitor's writing to each other.
You make up your mind on the property you want that is up for auction and do your homework as to any issues that might arise.
If you are happy with what you see ,go for it.
If you are succesfull with your bid you pay 10% on the day and the rest in 28 days and the job is done.
As long as you decide before hand what you are prepared to pay and can afford and stick to it ,it can be an exciting and rewarding way to purchase a property.
As with anything you buy , an object is only worth what someone is prepared to give for it, so an auction is as good as it gets in deciding what something is really worth.
A man who fears suffering is already suffering from what he fears.
