    Default Aquilegia

If I planted some Aquilegia seed in my borders the chances are they would not grow.
I was walking up the road just now and in the smallest crack in the pavment against the wall a self set Aquilegia in flower.
Although its sort of led itself down its in flower.
    How marvelous is nature?

Great photo. Granny's Bonnet will self seed prolifically, but will usually revert to that lovely purply colour, but if you save seeds, and select the weakest seedlings, they may surprise you with their colour. The strongest seedlings will have the natural colour, the weaker ones may come good.
