How to correct a post?

I posted 2 pictures on the photography thread and they have come up side by side instead of one beneath the other.
When I went to edit mode via the links, they show as 1 underneath the other.
What am i doing wrong and how do I correct it?

Make sure there's a break return between both pictures. If you then preview the message, it should show up correctly.

Did that as I always do but this time it did n't seem to work. Thanks any way will post single pictures until I have fathomed out this new fangled set up!
