    Default Computer buying advice

    We are thinking of getting an Apple iMac G5. Does anyone have any views on this system? Are they more reliable than pcs? Would be grateful for advice.

    It would be nice to have choice in different systems but you are better of sticking to a pc and windows operating system because there is a lot more software you can buy for the pc than apple and all the gadgets you buy are more user friendly with a pc

    It depends on what you want to use your comp for, apples are good for Graphics design but if it's a general computer your after I'd recommend a system with Windows too.
    They're suited more to general use, has the largest software/hardware ranges, easier to find help/information about.
