    Default Having a stroke

As some of you know, I am a medical writer. One of my sources e-mailed me this astonishing video presentation by a brain anatomist who had a stroke. It starts slowly but I guarantee you wont be able to put it down.
    Here it is:

    Thanks rich.

And what a relief to discover that you weren't the one having the stroke. At first I wondered if another day of falling snow had just been too much for you!

    Default Stroke

Thank you so much for sharing this.

My 26 year old son had a massive stroke last October and although he has made a remarkable recovery, he still has a way to go.

This has given us all so much hope.

    Loved it!
It makes me wonder if the left and right hemispheres of our brain being dominant is why some people are more into the connection with the earth and universe etc than others, who are more into the here and now of day to day life.
Probably I'm stating the obvious, but that is what I was wondering about as she spoke.
Really interesting stuff, and what a wonderful orator she is, to express what happened to her so clearly, you can see it all happening.
She was not quite what you would call refined, she was not quite what you would call unrefined. She was the kind of person that keeps a parrot. Mark Twain
