Almost the same view from me!
Super pics of Dunrobin, folks! I'm wondering if it's my eyes or an optical illusion, but the castle looks like it's tilting slightly to the right in your photo, buggyracer! Do we have the Leaning Castle of Golspie here???
I am living for today, always remembering yesterday, and looking forward to tomorrow!
i have downloaded photobucket and when i put in the link for the picture it just comes up with the photobucket web page and not the picture in the caithness . org page anybody got any ideas what i am doing wrong cheers o
Dan67,
Copy the IMG Code given below your uploaded image on Photobucket and paste it into your post on Caithness.org.
Hope that helps.
Cracking pics of Dunrobin. It realy does look like something out of a fairytale with its pointy turrets.

He has a profound respect for old age. Especially when it's bottled.

Looking forward to seeing your photo of Dunrobin Castle when you get it posted here, dan67! I have fond memories of visiting and taking a tour of the castle and gardens on more than one occasion. It owes its fairytale-like appearance to Sir Charles Barry, the architect of the Houses of Parliament in London. In 1845, he completely remodeled the castle from a plain, medieval fortress to the architectural fantasy that exists today.

My favourite castle - like something from a fairy tale but inside it would actually be nice to live in.
