Not really my year though - I was born in the year of the rabbit!
How about other Orgers, what's 'your' Chinese year?
Kung Hay Faht Choi to you all. May the year of the Rat be kind to one and all.

The nice thing about living in a small place is that if you dont know what you are doing....there's always somebody who does,or thinks they do! x

Happy Chinese New Year! to one and all.
OH is a Snake and the child is a Rabbit. Personally I am a Pig. It could have been worse. If I had been born a few months earlier, I'd have been a Dog and that would never do. The characteristics of a pig, Stubborn and loyal will do me just fine.
well i am the rat
Kung Hay Faht Choi to you all from me too!
That is indeed a great site, alanatkie! However, it appears to be an American site, so be careful how you enter your date of birth in the Chinese Zodiac Year Calculator, folks. You need to put year, *month* then day, not year, day then month., or you'll get the wrong sign. I confirmed this by looking at the Table Of The Sixty Year Calendar on Wikipedia. My correct sign is the sheep or goat, not the horse. I'm married to an ox, who just so happens to be to be born under the sign of Taurus the bull. No wonder he's so stubborn, lol! We're the proud parents of a rat and snake!

Native American Indian saying.
I'm a ox, OH is a dog and the bairn is a rooster.
It's no surprise that I'm a Dragon... add to that a Fire Dragon... then consider I'm a Leo too...
Maybe I should change my username to something far more appropriate, lol!

Am I the only Monkey then?
My hubby and I are dogs and our little zodiac angels are another dog, a monkey and a horse. My toddler is the monkey which seems wholly aproppriate. LOL!
