Default Well Done to the Bobbies

This is a copy'n'paste from the BBC

    Double drugs haul worth £70,000
Northern Constabulary has seized drugs with a combined estimated street value of £70,000, it has revealed.
In the first incident, police found £20,000 worth of ecstasy in a vehicle in the Wick area. A 22-year-old male is expected to appear in court.

In a second operation on Shetland, police seized drugs with a street value of £50,000 from the Holmsgarth ferry terminal in Lerwick.

A 51-year-old Shetland man is expected to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court.

Who says the police only taget motoring offences!!!?

Well as regards the wick man, targetting motorists and cars has obviously led to more serious crimes being detected.

Even if they caught the bloke with 100.000 worth of drugs it still wouldnt makeup for the years the police have done nothing up here.......

Cars getting wrecked every weekend... Spate of burglaries that happened not to long ago....the list go's on........Most of the criminal activities that go on in wick, the police know fine who does it but are to scared to do anything ....

They can lift a decent working person on a Saturday night for swearing at them or summit ..NIght in the cells and likely charges....And just for being drunk and stupid!

Yet the next known troublemaker u see in the paper month after month.. done for this and that... getting bail... and not sentanced ........awaiting background reports.........

Aaaahahah have u heard the like in your life!!!

The police in Wick are 110% a joke...............

I am surprised that the police are scared of criminals, have you any evidence of this?

A good reason to lift someone. Public disorder can lead to more serious offences like murder.

This has nothing to do with the Police. This has something to do with our liberal attitudes towards offender rehabilitation.

You're living in a dream world.

Some criminals are good at their job and it's hard to pin stuff on them. It's not enough to "know who who they need to catch".
