    Default Simpson/Sinclair/Rosie

    I'm looking for information on my GGGgrandparents John Simpson and Elizabeth Sinclair.They were married on Stroma in 1825.They had one son that I know of,John.I think John Sr.s parent were William Simpson and Bessy Rosie.Elizabeth and son John were in Orkney by 1841.Does anyone know when John Sr. died or who Elizabeths parents were.Info on any of these people would be appreciated.

    William Sinclair and Bessie Rosie had six children. Peter, John(D) Mary (D) Elizabeth, Jean and David.
    Could that be the name of Elizabeth's parents not John's? There were several John Simpsons born on Stroma but can't find one married to an Elizabeth Sinclair who lived there unless maybe she came from Orkney and they settled there after? Let you know more if I find it out.
