Xmas decorations up already !
I was very surprised to see xmas lights on a house already at the back of wick football park, and on a tree at queens hotel. Are there any more?!

I don't think it's unusual for a business to have them up now but not a domestic house. When i left college i worked as a Window Dresser in John Lewis in Edinburgh and we used to start decorating xmas trees in September. I think this is part of the problem nowadays xmas is thrust on us far too early and by the time it does come round everyone is sick fed up hearing about it.

Maybe the light were halloween lights?I have them up and my Mum had a pink fit thinking it was christmas light!x
The nice thing about living in a small place is that if you dont know what you are doing....there's always somebody who does,or thinks they do!x

Christmas lights already!!! I wont be putting mine up till December

It could be that the family who have them up have someone in the Forces who will be away over Christmas so they celebrate it early. Just a thought as I know a family who has done this so the dad didn't miss out seeing his son opening his presents because he was going off to the Gulf.
