    Default Vinegar Solution?!

Hi there, was wondering if anyone knows of the homemade solution containing vinegar that can be used to spray onto furniture and carpets to stop dogs scratching/chewing at them? I have tried the sprays you can buy from pets shops and they arent working!

    Thanks

Also a cake of soap has been known to work as well when rubbed onto wooden surfaces. They definately don't like that either.

A dab of vicks on the top of the nose ( hairy bit not the actual nose) and then a few bits on either tissues or whatever and it seems to cause a negative assosiation with the thing that smells like the stinky stuff on thier nose!
