    Default VHS to DVD

Purchase DAZZLE Digital Video Creator and do it yourself. Far cheaper.

I have a Plextor device that takes in video + stereo audio and captures via the USB port. It came with decent software for editing the result and then burning onto DVD. It can be a bit time consuming but very useful.

Of course if you don't already have a computer with a DVD writer in it the device is pretty much useless!

I got mine from Dixons in Inverness last year. Works a treat and easy to use. Think it cost me £29.95

In Thurso both Sutherland's Chemist and Miller's Copyshop advertise that they can transfer VHS to DVD. I don't know what the costs are but you can probably just give them a call to find out.
