Can cook, will cook says chef Laird
CAITHNESS Heart Support Group is hosting a cookery demonstration on Saturday night and it promises to be a real tasty affair.
Chef Laird Sutherland who is also a group member, is coming out of retirement to conjure up some mouth-watering recipes at the demo, scheduled to take place at the Family Centre in Bank Row, Wick.
He’s keeping the precise details under his chef’s hat but is confident you won’t be disappointed when you come to sample the dishes. The culinary event gets underway at 7.30pm. Space is limited, so be sure to come early. The event, which has a £5 admission, is the latest in the heart support group’s fundraising programme to finance more medical equipment for local surgeries and Caithness General Hospital. All funds raised, are spent locally.
