    i am woundering if anyone out there could help me, would like to listen to music on the net while chatting in the chat rooms.how do i do it

    Most sites which 'stream' audio require you to use software players like Real Audio or Windows Media Player. If you have a particular site in mind see if they use these players to listen to their 'stream'. Clicking on the link to the programme you want to hear should open your player or will prompt you to download the required player.

    If you have a Windows PC you should have WMP already installed.

    Once you are listening to streaming music off the net, you'll have to keep that web-page open - just minimise it onto the Windows taskbar, then you can start up another Internet Explorer window and surf away, or chat away on your preferred Chat client/website.
