I know that Christina Sutherland daughter of Jasper and Jane/Jean married James Mcpherson on18/3/1869 and that they had 2 sons James [1873 ] and David [1870 ]
and 3 daughters Jane [1875 ] Ellen/Helen [1878 ] and Ann [1880 ].
Can trace James as he was my great grandfather but cant find anything about his siblings.
They cant all have vanished into thin air but although I have looked on Scotlands People I cant find any marriage or death certificates for them.
They all lived with their parents at Newlands for the 1881 census

hey i discovered that i had missed 3 siblings of james mcpherson..john robert and christina...... have had contact from christina's grand son and now know that i have relatives in wick and thurso ................. aint the net just marvelous.im looking forward to discovering more about my new found family.... cant thank u all enough especially tricia . thanx pal xx
