    I know I will get blasted for starting this thread, 1 because I admit to watching it and 2 for not loving the winner.

    The judges love him, the public love him, (including all of my friends), but I don't get him at all.

    I think Kyle the chiminy sweep or Ela should have won it.

    It's usually the person with the biggest sob story or the most mass market appeal that wins. They should just dispense with all the artifice in these shows and just have people on begging for attention and money. Talking about how their granny or dog is dead or whatever.

    I find it odd that people will buy bad cover versions of songs because they feel a false attachment to the person singing.
