    Default Missing Your Bin Day

Is there any protocol to what to do about having extra baggage for disposal as the bin men won't take extra baggage. Is there a number to phone to ask for this to be taken?

Yes you phone the Glenfiddich distilerry and get them to leave a bottle behind your bin at Xmas.

Try phoning your local Highland Council Service Point and asking nicely what they would suggest.

Special uplifts of refuse, outside the normal bin limits, cost dearly, so you need to be careful to ask extra, special, NICE......

Basically, you have to drive it to the recycle centre yourself.
We do this often as with 5 in the house and a fortnightly lift, we've often got extra.

Errm ... if you have transport, just, take the bags to the recycling centre Wick or Thurso. Both have general rubbish skips for stuff to go to landfill.Usually the quickest and hassle free option (thats legal before the smart comments on fly tipping) .
Or ask the neighbours nicely to use some space in their bin...or sneak it in just before the uplift!
