how to attach pics to signature?

I have tried to attach a picture to my signature and it always says failed how do you do it?? I also tried to add a snowing avatar but it didn't work either, I'm not good at these things.

the picture needs to be stored online, unfortunately you cannot attach a picture from your hard drive (home computer)..

if you know how to store a picture online, you then need to know the URL (web address of the picture) and you then insert this address as the path of the picture...

I managed to do this by just copying and pasting a picture that was stored online, not sure about avatar as I cant get one yet but that is certainly how I got the one on my signature.
