    Default planning for council build

hi all, just wondering what all of you think my chances might be getting planning to put an extension on my 1 bedroom council owned property to make it into a 2 bedroom...

Myself and the wife will be paying for it and we are happy to hire in some skilled workers.

just want to know what chances we have

    thanks

You really need to speak to the housing and planning departments at the council. Just give them a call and discuss it with them. They can give you the very best answers and are usually very happy to do so. If you ask and don't get any help from them please get in touch and I can give you further help and advice. In theory it is permitted to make changes such as this subject to planning, but there are a whole bunch of issues to consider.

If the property belongs to the council you should contact the housing and property department first.
