    Default The littlest hobo

    Do you remember it?
The theme tune always made me feel sad!
and the title sequence showing that happy dog running around from town to town (and stealing a hotair balloon) breaking little kids hearts at the point where they get to know him as loyal companion he turns away and trots off!!

Anyway I found the theme and it still makes me sad 20 years later!

Awww! I love the Littlest Hobo too. I don't remember the 'Gay Pride' hot air balloon being in it though!

When me and Steve went to Rhodes on hols a few years back there was a dog at the hotel we stayed in that was a stray, she was very friendly and the hotel owners fed her, as did most of the holiday - makers. She didn't look like the dog in littlest hobo, but she reminded us of him, the way she'd trot off down the beach at night, just going wherever she pleased, tail wagging.

We also watched the Littlest Hobo but had to turn it off just before the music came on at the end or our son, who was around 3 or 4 at the time, would cry. It was a good Canadian show which I didn't realize had been seen and appreciated in the UK.

Theres a voice that keeps on calling me, down the road thats where I'll always be, every step I take I make a new friend, can't stay for long just turn around and I'm gone again. Maybe tomorrow...................

So so sad! I have the theme tune on my MP3 player. I loved that programme and I used to sing the song to myself when I was out riding my pony - they were some of the best days of my childhood.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.
