    Default looking fora scrap yard

    Where do we take cars to be scrapped in Caithness ? (legally that is.)
    I can find only one scrap dealer in the org a-z thats at Lovers Lane Thurso and i not sure they take cars.(i'll phone then thurs)
    Any one solved this problem in the past.

    Speedy skip hire in Sir Archibald rd, Thurso is the only place, we have put 2 cars there and it cost around about £50 each car

    I don't have a number but u will get it in the phone book

    that was a one off where they uplifted cars on a first come basis. My dad had 2 cars scrapped this way and it was speedy skip hire that took them away. You will have to pay at the moment.

    yeah thats what i thought it was just a 1 off

    I think if u go through the council now it'll cost u £150

    I know it is cheaper if u deliver the car to speedy coz thats what we did, but if he picks it up its a bit dearer

    there is some one in dunbeath that takes scrap
