More Store to 99p store

A shopkeeper has told me that More store in Wick is to be a 99p shop, that will be good, but I dont think Semi-chem will be pleased. A big lorry was parked there today putting shelving etc inside and placing paper over the windows.

They used to be a 99p shop before they take them over

Dont really see the need for another 99p shop filled with more cheap tat wasnt that one of the reasons the more store went to the wall ???

The more store was great for

kids undies, socks hats and gloves.
kitchen cloths, plastic containers candles and bins and mops
cheap bedding, towels - which were often very nice indeed, hot water bottles, tea towels, sometimes bathroom stuff and bedside lamps.

I will miss the more store - When you havent a lot of money you can often find the things you need cheaply at places like the more store. Many times the More Store saved the day!!!

wicks More Store is to be Christys 99p shop. I also heard all the old staff got offered a job which is good for Wick's unemployment and for the out of work staff!
