Default Car Rental - Inverness Airport

Looking into renting a car from Inverness airport for 2 weeks. Can anyone recommend who to use, plus if anyone can give a rough idea how much it is to rent a car these days?

I don't anything fancy, just need something basic to runaround while I'm on holiday in Caithness.

    Cheers all.

I have always dealt with AVIS/they are at the Airport.... Always nearly new, clean etc etc.
Just go to the Avis Website...com or co.uk., and you can price them on there.
I use a Gold/Platinum Credit Card to rent it with, and that covers the CDW for the Insurance, thus it is just the price of the car.
Perhaps you can use your own Insurance if you have a vehicle registered to you...
You may find some cheaper but the quality of Service counts when you need it.

In addition I wrote an Avis Pontiac Bonneville off in South Florida a few years ago. Hit a car(T boned) it. Not my fault..of course!
They towed the car to the Avis Dealership and I got a ride with the Police...They gave me another new one/ fill out some forms/ Police report number and off I went, sore neck, cuts and all! So easy to deal with....I thought there would be some issues but to them it was just all in a day's work. fyi

I always used to tag my car hire on to my flight with easyjet.

My son came to visit a few weeks ago and he booked the flights to Inverness with a view to me collecting them from the airport.

I was busy that day and had a look at booking through Europcar, but found it very expensive.

I had a look on line and came across this outfit, c.cars@atlaschoice.com and got a brand new four door Vauxhall for £113.00 per week, and I think a basic model was about £107.00.

They got stung for £20.00 to take them to Dalcross to pick it up, (which is walking distance) ,but it still turned out about £100.00 cheaper than any other quote that I got.
