    Default My Photo Website

Hi all, just recently setup my website to show off some of my photos http://taylor-images.co.uk/ You can also find it on facebook https://www.facebook.com/taylorimagesphoto

Would love some feedback on the site and the photos if you have time.

Best way to get good honest feedback on your photos is to post them on a dedicated photography forum, many of which have their own critique sections. They dont usually hold back in their honesty but at least you learn and dont get someone telling you a shot is fantastic just because you're one of their clique and wouldnt dare say that there was a big patch of burnt out sky or poor contrast, etc.
Good site and photos, nicely set up,your second sunset has a squint horizon though.

I like them both, although I think to gather followers you'll have to add many more pictures to your website, and I much prefer the website to the facebook for presentation.
    I have bookmarked your website.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm usually so careful with my horizons as it is such a pet hate of mine lol. Do you have any recommendations on photography website/forums to try. I've looked at a few and found them to be pretty cliquey and newbies don't get much in the way of responses. Being a relative new comer to photography (6-7 months with a dslr) my post production skills are hugely lacking. I'm trying to work with RAW files now and I have photoshop.

Thanks for your comments, the facebook page is more to try to direct traffic to my website and as 700,000,000 people use facebook it would be daft not to utilise it. Yeah definitely need to get more images up.

Cliquey and photography unfortunately seem to go hand in hand, this forum being a prime example.Stick with one, comment on other's photos. You tend to get a group of posters at the same level/experience grouping together and commenting among one another, leaving the pro's and "gear whores" to waffle on about their expensive f2.8 &1.4 L lenses and all the in depth theory they can come up.You do get some of the pros who are very helpfull and are more than willing to explain things and offer some advice.
Lots of good photoshop tutorials on youtube.
If you have a Canon camera then this forum is worth looking at.

Nice site, as others have said, clean and uncluttered, looking forward to more of your photos.

Try joining World Photography Forum, it seems to cover everybody from amateur snapper to gear gurus and semi pros. Good discussions and plenty of tips, you can set up your own photo gallery and invite comments on your work also.

    Here's the web link. http://www.worldphotographyforum.com/

I don't like the navigation system on you site. Good start though. I'd post more images for viewers to look at :-)

As someone with a well established website, what would you suggest?
