    I was watching a programme about White cliffs of Dover, which we know is made of chalk, the teachers use chalk, is there chalk mines, and where are they?

    No highlander they are not, saddly The White Cliffs of Dover are no so white as those in Sussex!
    I seem to have in the back of my mind that the chalk used for blackboards.drawing etc . has nothing to do with The White Clifs,.will do some sticky beaking over the weekend and get back to you.
