    Default CCTV and Recording

Due to some Numpty having very little sense i am being forced to install a CCTV to the front of my house.

What i need to know is how do i record? Is it on VHS or is it possible to use my Laptop.

    Many thanks in advance

Maplin online have a good choice of security systems. The one we chose came with one camera or four camera option, all the cables which connect it to a monitor and it records onto a DVD hard drive. There is some kind of motion sensor built in so it only records action, but it is dated and timed on the recordings.

If you live in town it is very difficult to watch only your own car/garden so when our kit was set up we had the police in to satisfy themselves we were not able to spy on our neighbours. Only problem now is whenever something kicks off near us they hope the incident was picked up on our CCTV.
