    Talking Positive about local shops

Hubby and I went around local furniture retailers looking for a dining table and a coffee table.

Service in ALL shops we went in to was excellent.
    Staff were friendly and honest.
    Prices were very competitive.
    Goods were of great quality

I had a quick look in Homebase
Didn't ask for assistance so cannot comment on staff
    Furniture quality not that great
    Prices astronomical

So good on the local retailers.....
Spring has sprung, the grass is ris', I wonder where the birdies is, the birdies is on d' wing, now thats absurd, everyone knows d' wing is on d' bird

I think the message is, support your "neighbourhood shops" until they can no longer deliver the service that seems ok to you.

If they provide the right service at competetive prices they should be okay.
    The customer is king.
