Thread: Difference in CD's

  1. #1

    Default Difference in CD's

Will cd's labelled for music still take photos/text? In other words, can photos be burned onto blank 'music' disks?

Yes they should. The CD standard is not separated for music and data, they use the same technology its just a different file structure and burn pattern. What I would say though is that the CD is labelled for music because it has been optimised and improved for the strain a music CD will undergo, and it may be overkill for storing data, but crack at it.

I'm much obliged, thanks. I used up a bunch of my own regular ones for someone who replaced them with these marked music. I'll give 'em a go.
    Thanks.
