Foreign vehicles are exempt from road tax so long as they are valid in their country of origin and they are here on a short visit, same goes for insurance.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

Aww, almost had another reason to complain and an excuse to arrest him.

I doubt that with the amount they spend on planning these visits they would leave out something as important as the popemobile's legality.

You'd have no chance of catching him. The superfast car and white clobber are a giveaway, he's got to be Stig in his new job.

By the way, I was reading that the Pope is not being very well welcomed in the UK. Pray tell me why?

Funny, religion innit. Funny in the sense that you can mock some religions but not others without certain people getting "offended", why's that then? At least the one good thing about it is that the people who mock the Pope wont get issued with a fatwah or whtever the Catholic equivelant is(Dawn raid by the Knights Templar?) unlike other less tolerant religions.
Btw I'm an atheist dyslexic trawlerman and I dont believe in Cod.

i'm all for a balanced, religiously tolerant society

that's why when the next Imam, Rabbi or Dalai chooses to visit our country i will make a point of slagging off their imperfections as well (except the Dalai of course) it just so happens that this pope was a member of the Nazi Youth.

now some might say that he's overcome his prejudices and hatred over the years, but then we find out otherwise ....

i.e. the pope's views against homosexuals, abortion and his choice to protect his own pedophiles.

I'm not entirely convinced he actually joined through choice.

    we all have a choice

i take on what you're saying about the times he lived in back then, they either chose to fight against, join in or turn a blind eye

but what about the choices he makes today ?

    any comments ?
