    Default Tornado over Latheron?

    Did anyone see this storm yesterday evening? We were at sea looking back towards Latheron and saw what looked like a tornado
    whaddya think?
    Am going to try and upload some pics now...

    Think it is funnel cloud but if not the folk of Latheron need to build underground bunkers just in case of land fall! Quite frightening though.

    In picture 2 it looks like it touches land so would that make it a tornado, however briefly? Awesome pics either way.

    Yes, we saw the tornado on our way home ,going down the Causewaymier
    WONDERFULL sight

    if a funnel cloud 'touches down' even for a second or two, then yes it becomes a tornado as correctly posted by Geo
