There's nothing particular I'm keen to post at the minute cos I have it all in photo bucket. i just want to be able to do it. I tried to download in 'manage attachments' Found the photo, 'uploaded file' got the message 'Your file of 390.1kb exceeds limits of 97.7.
Same message when trying to download from photo bucket.
I did reduce the size of photo and it did download - success! I cry. only to find that it had gone into a new window, with still no way of getting it onto the message board. Don't even know where the window has gone now.
some one else told me all they did was copy the photo and paste it on their post - no bother. Tried that, but the paste option is not highlighted when I go into the message board.

You don't use 'manage attachments' on the Org to post pictures if your photos are already on photobucket. You just need to type or paste the url address after clicking on the 'insert image' shortcut.

Before you typed the location of the picture, type [img] "link to photo" [/img]

So you would type: [img] http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...om/cruise1.jpg [/img] without any of the spaces between the [img] and the link

Well - what now? Two attempts - - still failure! And the image had not been moved or deleted!

Katarina, I finally got it right myself today, by going to http://picsplace.to/

After you upload your photo, it will appear as a thumbnail on that site. Scroll down, and it will show you various ways to link your photo. The one you want to use is the third one down, where it says "forum link". Cut and paste that link into your message, and voila, your photo will appear directly as the full size version in your post!

On Photobucket under your pictures should be three url's. Copy and paste the one that begins '[IMG]' into your message here on the Org. Your previous attempt didn't work because you began it '[IGM] and not [IMG]. as you can see I corrected it in the quote.
