Dogs loose on the A9 outside Thurso

Just drove from thurso to wick and two small terriers are loose on the A9 before the turn off to Gillock (thurso side).

I think these are patterdales, one black one tan. Tried to catch them but very nervous and have no road sense at all.

I have informed the police who will hopefully be there soon.

If you know who these belong to please let them know, similarly if you're travelling that road please take care.

I think it was my pal's dogs and they are back with owner now. Thank you for posting.

Aw thats brilliant, i was really worried about them on such a busy road!

They were having the time of their lives but not quite aware of the dangers.

I've had my share of escapees in the past too! Glad these pair made it safely home
