investments
hi i'm new to the forum
i'm thinking of investing in property in the wick area. currently i live in Inverness and was wondering if anyone thought that this is a good idea.
at the moment in Inverness the property market is booming and property is too expensive for the average person. properties are being bought before they are even built.
properties advertised at offers over £70,000 are easily selling for £90,000. i'm hoping that Wick is the place to buy right now but need feedback. I was born in Wick so i know the area but haven't been up in a good few years so i don't know whats there anymore.
is it worth investing? is the area up and coming i.e big businesses moving up there, housing developments etc. also are there job opportunities?

As 2 jobs, not much really, but there is BT in thurso or the battery factory and there is norfrost in castletown, but they r 21 miles away from wick
