Found this address in some of my Cormack Taylor family around mid 1700s ....
Can anyone place this for me.

There is an Achoy mentioned in the 1841 census. Going by the places mentioned either side of it i would reckon it is somewhere between the present day Banks Lodge and Newton.

Achoy is certainly between Newton and Banks Lodge at OS Grid Ref ND228533 which is on the south side of the Watten-Westerdale road. It is still on present day maps.
