Great shots of the stones DAFI, do you ever catch sight of the Druids around your way?

nirofo.

You might just catch a glimpse if you are around the stones on high days and hollidays Nirofo! These druids must be some sort of recent religion as they have only been appering over the last few years. 10, 20 even 30 years ago you would have seen no one at the winter festival dates.

Thanks to you all for the kind comments.

When all you use is a wee compact camera its often a struggle to find a photo. The first is a bit of too much view for too small a lens. The second image is actualy a digiscoped image taken from the roadside as i entered the site.

This third image i have just loaded was taken shortly after i had digiscoped the three stones. Within fifteen minutes of the first shot i had taken the last one and the sky had rolled through a wide range of colour. With sunsets i think it pays to stick about and see what happens and how the colours develop.
