Ma eyes flew open a noise i did hear
Ma heart going ever faster with the fear
Pitter patter,Pitter patter fae doon the stair
Ma feet they arrived on the cold icey flair

Oh help ma mammy boabie I did shout
Pitter Patter,Pitter Patter filled the air out
Crawling doon from the room up above
A gave the living room door a great mighty shove

PITTER PATTER,PITTER PATTER so louder now
Couldnae hear ma breathing,then looked and then POW!!
Ma eyes re-adjusted,I said "I'm deid I'll catch ye later
But naw ma eyes were still on the radiator

For there running on the top was a wee moose
"Whit the hell ye doin and who set ye loose"
Pitter Patter,Pitter Patter his feet along the metal
Given ma sel a minute for ma heart to begin to settle



Wee sleechit courin timerous beastie
Wit a fright a hid in ma cheastie
I'd strangle ye if I wisnae so tired
