This is the first time I've noticed the wind turbines in the distance at this location despite driving down Scalesburn every day !!!

Yes they're popping up everywhere, Caithness will be covered with them soon? I wonder where all the people are who are benefitting from all these windmills, nearest major city is Inverness, it must be the landowners and manufacturers who benefit the most. The power losses over that sort of distance must be huge, no wonder they need so many, what a waste of money, resources and spoilt environment.
