There is nothing special about this photo but for some reason my son taking of by himself into the white wilderness struck a cord with me, I think the croft on the horizon gives it more meaning (as in destination). He came back about two seconds later :)

Ha ha Liz, honest there are paw prints, hoof prints and probably some rabbit and fox prints in that field. I think it is my soft focus, as if I knew what I was talking about :)

Just to let you know after a hard day conquering the ice and snow, the hero returns. And to prove he wasnt alone out there you can just see the backside of a lesser spot polar dog

They would be quite dramatic if I cut the explorer out, when we get something similar, weather wise, I might venture out myself to get a nice shot of the sky and croft
