Still pleasantly warm in the front room. With a cold front moving in through the kitchen door (the dogs just gone out into the garden to chase snowflakes).

Cloud expected at altitude when I run the bath with a cooler breeze and cloud lifting later when I open the bathroom window.

Just back from Thurso and the dounreay road has a fair bit of snow lying, no sign of any gritters, so if u r travelling to work tonight on dounreay road, be careful!!!

Headed up the road yesterday after a christmas, new year trip to Ireland. Perth Inverness was not great but it was a 25miles an hour job to get from Inverness to Thurso. A very long trip that took 13 hours, we are very very happy to be home and tucked in safe in our warm house, the kids are also very happy to see what santa has left under their own tree for them, looks like they are getting a white christmas after all :)

Haven't been out today but down at Brims,(looking out of my window) no snow, a wee bit of wind and the sun is out, looks like a beautiful summers day [lol] well apart from a bit of clouds [lol]
