hello, looking for any info on the above john bain. He lived at smerlie, lybster. Born 1826 to Duncan Bain and Annie Sutherland. He was a crofter but, also a well known self taught herbalist and bone setter. There is a bit about him in the Book of Lybster but, am trying to also find out a bit about his genealogy and more about his herbal work for a project i am doing for my course. Any info is greatly appreciated!:)
